Event Venue
The event will be held at The St. Regis Cairo New Capital with block rate accommodation. Please refer to Travel and Funding policy for more details.
Language
The conference will be conducted in English. All sessions, presentations, and materials will be available in English.
Transportation
ASRT shuttle service will be provided from the airport to the hotel and back. Detailed transportation schedules will be shared with registered participants.
Weather
December in Cairo is pleasantly cool with average temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C, low humidity, and minimal rainfall. Please consider bringing sunscreen and protective gear.
Time Zone
Cairo operates on UTC+2 (Eastern European Time). Please adjust your schedules accordingly for the conference sessions.
Currency
The local currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). Major credit cards are widely accepted at hotels and restaurants. ATM machines are available onsite.
Safety and Security
The safety and security of all conference participants are of utmost importance. The hotel and meeting venue will both be located at the St. Regis Cairo, New Capital, an international 5-star hotel and conference center situated in the outskirts of Cairo. Security at the venue will be overseen by the hotel staff in close cooperation with the Egyptian tourism police, ensuring a professional and reliable framework for the event.
All transportation, including airport and hotel transfers, will be managed through a reputable Egyptian company providing buses and vans. To further support the comfort and safety of participants, all conference sessions and related activities will take place in private areas reserved exclusively for attendees.
The design of the program and venue setup is intended to create a secure and focused environment for the event. While participants are, of course, free to explore Cairo independently should they wish, those who remain within the venue and make use of the official program and arrangements will be in a controlled and safeguarded setting.

Visa Requirements
For smooth entry into Egypt, the details of registered participants will be shared with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ASRT will assist registered participants.
